Come on SE, more dyeable mogstore npc outfits and 60/70 alliance raid gear. Do them all.
Here's what I think. Krile is one of the most uninteresting characters I've ever come across. I don't care what happens to her good or bad-even Tataru is more interesting than Krile. Although really, I don't like lalas at all. That said.
I'm tired of nitty gritty omg so EDGYYYYYYYYYYYY content. I'm sick of it. I can't get a good Batman movie to save my life for the past almost 10+ years now and people are over here like, 'no we need more edge'. Is it depression? What makes someone constantly seek terror and heartbreak everywhere. Why don't you just watch your local news?? You'll see people right there in your own town in real life struggling and dying just like you seem to love so much. You really will!!
Do I think it's time to retire the scions-yes, absolutely. Sick of them too. They keep clawing onto WOL and riding our coattails everywhere we go, everything we do. I do wish they'd get their own lives for once. but do I need to see them suffer and die??? Not really, no. I mean, they could do us all a favor and just kill y'shtola off for good instead of merely pretending to kill her every 3 patches or so-but then they'd get accused of racism I'm sure so idk kill uhhhhhh (spins the wheel) both twins. Idk, graha and thancrad had death fakeouts too so to actually kill one of them would be kinda unshocking too-already used the emotional death moment impact up on them. Estinien and Urianger are the only characters who are actually solid to me personally so not them. REALLY, kill any of them and everyone will act like its a great day of sorrow and be annoying on social media about every detail the character ever said or did while pretending they were so highly effected that they cried for HOURRSS just like that one death people pretend to be so destroyed over to this day.
But thats stupid too-just write the scions out already. Let us meet new people so their fates won't be locked behind fan-love/plot armor. and whoever we meet next, don't listen to fans about anything please. Krile can be goofy and silly for a few moments, I'm fine with that. but let this be the last time we see her outside of being able to go click on her for old times sake somewhere. Same with the rest.
You mean like literally every other character we didn't know until... we did? I don't get what the point of this comment is. Literally no one is saying to instantly throw a bunch of new characters at us and joining us immediately out of nowhere.
I hate Krile and I don't want more Children to join the Scions.
Alisaie and Alphinaud are more as enough.
If we get more Childrens then I am 100% out.
I want Grown up Scions with different personalities. Different Races and not only Cats / Elfs. And none out of Sharlayan!
I feel already like Kindergarden with the Twins and G'raha Tia.
We need new Scions (a whole new Group) with People like Cerigg, Granson, Giott, Riol Forrest maybe even Ryne, Gaia, Estinien, Gaius and Erenville.
Zodiark and Hydaelyn are gone and so should be the old Scions. With a whole new beginning, new Faces we should start the New Chapter.
Someone call the Forum Police! Because I wrote passive aggressively that DT looks not good. Oh how right I was!
So no more children... Except 2 more children?I hate Krile and I don't want more Children to join the Scions.

"no more people I don't personally enjoy" is probably more accurate
so, based on everything you post, you have a well meaning hatred for all things FFxiv? no game or internet anything is going to cater to everyone, its that simple. because everyone is different. This is precisely what I feel has occurred with FFXIV. It is a tragic state of affairs when those of us who mean well are continuously shut down and treated dismissively by these newer "fans" who in any other case would likely not be playing Final Fantasy games at all had this game not catered to them to the extent that did.
seems to me the main thing that sticks in your craw as they say is Yoshi doesnt listen to YOU. its their game and they will do with it what they wish. no amount of screaming at the tide is going to change that. once you realize that your life will become much happier. trust me.
Its also odd he claims only newer fans disagree with him. My account creation date speaks for itself lol.so, based on everything you post, you have a well meaning hatred for all things FFxiv? no game or internet anything is going to cater to everyone, its that simple. because everyone is different.

I've been playing FF games for over 20 years...
I'm glad Krile looks like getting some actual development soon-ish and a new outfit. Even though Tataru's current outfit is one that is just an updated look of her original Krile is still the only Scion that hasn't gotten a new look since being introduced. Even with Eureka they didn't give her much character development. She also is the only one who still occasionally teases the others. Krile is only a scholar from an Academic standpoint. As the few times we've seen her take out a weapon it's been a wand like Y'Shtola used to use.
I normally do not bother responding to posts like this one, but I am so sick of people like yourself trying to paint me as some kind of villain. No amount of me telling you that what I want is for this game to respect its world and the way it was when a decent bunch of us signed on, and for it not to become something that can't be recognized as the FFXIV we fell in love with back then appears to be getting through to some of the posters on here.so, based on everything you post, you have a well meaning hatred for all things FFxiv? no game or internet anything is going to cater to everyone, its that simple. because everyone is different.

No game or internet anything is going to cater to everyone, FFXIV originally catered to fans of Final Fantasy and dramatic, more mature storytelling in general during the Heavensward-Shadowbringers era. I do not believe that Endwalker met the criteria established by previous expansions, and as evidenced by some of the other posts in this thread I have great reason to be concerned about the sort of fans that catering to Twitter has attracted.
I don't believe for a second that you would uninstall this game if we got a Heavensward-style expansion for 7.0. But if things don't start shaping up on multiple aspects concerning the story then I will not stay on beyond 7.0. Do you think I like being this critical? This is one of my favorite video games and so much of the goodwill I had for it that was built up over the past decade has been continually worn away through numerous means.
I quite literally feel like how WoW players must have felt when their game's lore started going the way it went and for reasons that I have stated, repeatedly, I do not want to see FFXIV follow a similar trajectory. The feedback that led to 6.0 being the way it was came from what I believe to be sources that were biased in only one direction. It is time for them to start ask themselves:
"Hey, why don't these guys like what we worked so hard on? Did we mess up somewhere? How can we do better next time? Hmm. I really liked making this character, so why don't people view them the way that I do? How can I make their intentions more clear?"
That is what I want. I want them to sit down and try to understand the perspective of those of us who take issue with some of the recent decisions that have been made in story content recently. We were the players that were here when this game was being reborn from the ashes. And I don't believe that wanting for some consideration and analysis of this feedback is beyond the realm of reasonable asks.
My response to the above:I'm glad Krile looks like getting some actual development soon-ish and a new outfit. As the few times we've seen her take out a weapon it's been a wand like Y'Shtola used to use.
To add onto this, the last thing this party also needs is another "sassy" female character like Y'shtola to be introduced so that she can make jokes at the expense of men in the cast. I do not want to see that come from Krile as well.Simply put, the last thing we need is another Sharlayan in the party. Stacking the Scions full of scholarly types from the same single nation aside from Estinien has led to a critical lack of diversity in both appearance and ideology amongst the player party. Krile being a lalafell is a change of pace in terms of looks alright, but I struggle to comprehend what she could possibly bring in terms of personality and lore expositions that Y’shtola does not – given that it seems we will never be rid of the latter.
An outfit change should be the last priority when her character is relatively underdeveloped at present. If the plan for her to “play an active role” aka joining the party comes to fruition, special care must be taken to ensure that she fulfils an interesting spot in the party.
