Wanted to like Krile, but she's boring, part of the "Sharlayan posse", and was essentially Hydaelyn's lala-sized megaphone. Nothing else.

If for whatever absurdly stubborn reason they still want to focus on her, hopefully they won't tack on the goofiness immediately without any sort of development, or it'll be truly cringe-inducing.

Whilst I would like a reprise from the Scions, I do not mind the odd one coming along with us in 7.0 and out of all the Scions, I actually would like to see Krile take an active role in the story. She always feels left behind. Sure she has important story moments but out of all the Scions she is the one who just... I dunno, feels like she was not as offical a member as the others. Heck she is not even a Trust option despite being a healer!

What they're suggesting is that they were watching the cutscene, Alphinaud announced the disbanding of the Scions and that caused elation for a decent amount of us who were eager to see the story move on from the Scions. That the decision was reversed five seconds later does not negate those initial feelings.

In itself, the game likes to dangle potential consequences as a 'shocker' but then immediately reverse them which is becoming stale to some of us.

Them each going on their own adventures kind of implied that there would be a little break from them as a whole. Maybe they weren't officially disbanding, but it definitely didn't give you, or at least how I remember it, the feeling that we were outright going to jump right back into the usual adventures so soon. I kind of thought we would be able to go on our own as well.

To move forward on our own to confront ever mightier foes and overcome them. Not for any singular purpose but for the fight itself.

After Krile was put in the echo mental-anguish chamber in stormblood, I was looking forward to a PTSD redemption arc. Instead, she was just fine afterwards and never brought it up again. Such a bizarre event to never reference again.

It wasn't "never referenced again" though. The primary point of it happening was that Krile's Echo got copy-pasted onto Fordola, so it had lasting importance beyond the initial plot point of "Krile got kidnapped and then rescued". That importance just isn't focused on Krile.

Well she IS the most underdeveloped member of the Scions (maybe the only one too), so maybe this will give her proper character development.

Its amusing how much this part gets overlooked and ignored by the people who deluded themselves to think the Scions would be completely gone. Or that this meant we were getting this "Whole New Cast" with no Scions. Very wishful thinking because this was never hinted, ya'll created it out of thin air.
It is a very obvious hint that the Scions are not Disappearing, rather that the Organization/The Group will not be operating as a whole any longer. This does not mean they wouldn't keep in contact as they split, or that they wouldn't come together to solve a problem again if needed. Matter of fact, I dont think any of them even said anything about retirement.

The thing is, new characters still need to be built-up, the devs can't just unceremoniously dump an entire 7-8 people in that we've never met before and go "enjoy your new companions", can they?
