Adding Legacy Tattoo to Mog Station

Personally I couldn't care less tbh. Wouldn't feel sad or happy it's on the mogstation or not... Or actually I would be a bit sad because I find too much stuff is getting on mogstation these days for a sub based MMO.

What I dislike in your tone though is 'all you really did', but you mustn't forget that without them the game wouldn't even exist today if it wasn't for the loyal fans who kept their faith back then. Considering how big the game is now I think that is pretty significant.

Also I specifically said "them" since I wasn't actively playing myself. So your 'all you really did' is totally fine directed to me since my contributions wouldn't have changed the fate of the game in any way what so ever.

I also specifically said in a general sense because I don't personally care about anyone's personal history with the game, just as no one probably cares about mine. If you spent 1000+ hours suffering in 1.0, cool. You did the thing. I've clocked almost 1000 hours in PSO2:NGS which is a trash fire of a game on a good day and was there pretty much from the first month and have some exclusives that havent seen the light of day since.

Does that mean I deserve to act like I'm above others?

No, I just got lucky and was told about the game early by friends. Lol. I don't view it as deep as some people do.

I don't think it's very 'elitism' to want to have exclusive rewards you got from long ago to stay exclusive. Personally I find it more toxic to see swarms of new people coming with "I want all your exclusive stuff".

Also, please see my recent comparison. NGS gets maybe 1.5k active players a day....pretty much dying, no? If they decided to shut down and revamp and give me something special for having a char there since first month, I'd just be like: "Okay." Cause it's not that deep to me and I don't feel special for playing early. All it is to me is that I picked up a game and found something about it I enjoyed to stick around till now.

Maybe my views on personal attachment to games are more relaxed than others but not really something that can be changed.

But you're right. I'm not sure 1.5K can be financially profitable. But who knows, maybe they pull a ARR and everybody flocks to the game. Time will tell I suppose

It's cool.

The game is being held alive by whales spending on gacha but yeah, can't have a game survive forever like that.

I have played since ARR and I would love it. BUT, it belongs to the players that were there before ARR and that stood by SE while they rebuilt everything. HOWEVER: I would love something for all my years of playing. I have never ever taken a break since I started playing when ARR was released and the rewards for playtime have stopped coming long ago. A new tattoo would really be nice. So SE, please give us some reward for standing by you for so many years.

Adding just more tattoo's would be nice. Legacy is overblown. Very little gear is designed with it in mind. Now say if the Rising event had special backless armour designed to show it off. I liked a suggestion bookmarking when you joined. So if you joined in HW's and preordered Stormblood it comes with a new tattoo design. It would be even greater if they could add it to the esthetician.

Yeah. I do not see how it would really be detrimental to your gameplay though. I really like the 1.0 storyline and carteneau event, and I decided to make my RP character have experienced those events. It would be very immersive and nice for me to just get the simple tattoo for my rp. Until then I just keep my back covered, it is just visual and offers no other benefits, I guess. If I could get it though I would, and so fast.

Also you get a lower sub and your name in the credits, that is more beneficial and cool than a tattoo, but that tattoo would be really nice for my RP

I’m not sure I would have written that for my character backstory when it’s a blatant lie. Of all the things you could have come up with, why this one? I don’t think it’s fair to ask for something so exclusive just for your RP. You’re writing the story, so just rewrite it.

What's with the collective victim syndrome on here?
Bruh, it's not like you bought Cyberpunk after it was out, You probably didn't know what you got into, and at minimum you paid like 60 dollars once, yet you kept playing this "horrible horrible" game like someone held you at gunpoint and now hold it up like a banner of honor.

Legacy account sub prices literally cost less so you're already getting something, but no let's gatekeep some useless set of pixels that'll go into nothingness in about 50 years once the servers shut down and affect you in no way whatsoever. I personally could not care less about that ugly tattoo whatsoever, but how does it affect anyone by making it available not for free, but for money.

Limited items make no sense to me, what's good in artificial scarcity? So you can sell your account once you lose interest in XIV? Like really, if someone wants a piece of item, that is already there, already taking resources and could be replicated at no cost for the devs, you'd rather they apologize for inconveniencing you for not being born at the time, or just simply not knowing about the game? Do you really care that much about being "unique"? How is them paying for this not the equivalent effort you put into it?

I'd welcome it, my account is older than most but I wasn't able to actively play the game during the time period of the legacy campaign so here's a 2011 player that has no legacy tattoo because of rl circumstances lmao....
