I just hit rank 10 this morning with 10k in the bank. People starting late can definitely go a little faster with all the info that's available. 4520 sc was my earnings last week. On Day 3 (day off), I have 4410.

I checked the vendor and there's more stuff to buy.

I have 10 animals herded until I bank enough crops to keep more fed regularly. I might add one or two if I happen to catch the super rare spawns.

Patience and restraint pays off. I imagine I'll have all the shop items within a few weeks. It's nice to have something to do that I can easily walk away from and pick up easily.

Got my pasture done, can be automated now too. I will agree with another user here, that there probably should be a little water source in there. Maybe like a pond or something. It'd also help with aesthetics. I was able to catch one rare spawn (probably rare?): some red penguin.

Not a very popular opinion after a week. It's kind of fun to see how the opinion has shifted in so little time, from the very start of the patch.

I heard there's bug that if you take the cowries from cycle 7 on next season, that cowries don't count for achievement for 10k and 17k...

rng capture mechanics could not be lazier design, i stg. bad enough these weather mobs have bugged spawns in the first place.

I have 10/10 rare animals now and will hit rank 8 soon. Hopefully I will be able to catch the largest animals soon and have a bigger farm because I don't want to release the ones I have now. A bigger garden would be nice too.

You get the final pasture and cropland upgrade at rank 7. Be sure to upgrade your cozy cabin to make sure you get the options.

If your goal is to get the most leavings from each, then they need the best food available. Go for the bigger cropland first and make plenty of veg before capturing more animals.

Btw does anyone know how the automated stuff works with the pasture and fields? I unlocked everything there is and when you build the last tools and talk to the NPCs it says something like they can take care of it now, but i have no idea how. I still need to feed the animals and water the fields myself.
