For any rank 10s out there - if a non-max level friend comes to visit...can they fly on your island? If you visit them, can you fly on yours?

I'm making thousands a day too now. I REALLY need to get in on this shark oil market! I am sad about the maintenance tonight, because I'll be a couple hours late to start my next foraging expedition. Those hammerheads are going to want to stay far away from my island!![]()

I planned to collect other rare materials from granaries except the mats for Spruce Shield because this week their popularity is Very High, so even you crafts them with Sufficient supply, you still get big incomeI'm making thousands a day too now. I've been having to collect upgrade mats for the workshop upgrade, granary, and apparently I need silver, but after this maintenance I'll start collecting things for big income finally. Also, set my pasture to expand last minute before the maintenance, I need to get more of those animal mats too!

I feel for a lot of comments that want certain things to be changed and I do hope that SE does even more with this content.
But I dont get this "its not like Harvest Moon / Animal Crossing" at all. These games have farming, building and interaction as their core feature. Of course they would have deeper and better systems than the content who is only one side activity of many in FF14. This was never meant to be a whole complete game inside a game. Its bascially what the "dungeon" is in Stardew Valley, something to do, if you dont want to deal with the core game right now.

The dungeon in Stardew Valley is mandatory for progressing in the game. It has a lot of materials you only get in it and unlockables tied to making deep progress in it. Island Sanctuary is a feature that has you work as a mammet manager just for the pleasure of being a manager.I feel for a lot of comments that want certain things to be changed and I do hope that SE does even more with this content.

I played Stardew Valley and never got the feeling that the mines were mandatory. (And I googled it and according to some you can play the game without touching that content, it just costs you a lot of money and time)The dungeon in Stardew Valley is mandatory for progressing in the game. Anyway what I meant with this, is that a game has its core features. And next to that they have side activities. Some might be more important than others but mostly those side activities are not as complex as the core game. And in FF14 farming and other Harvest moon like features are not the core game. So I really dont expect them to create something that will be just as big as a game that is mostly just about that.

I enjoy it the way it currently is. The primary two things I'd like are the option to keep the workshop material window open in the background during gathering aka the focus doesn't switch to it with you gather with a controller so you can just immediately gather the next thing. And the option to exchange leavings for other leavings. Like if you want to have 20 Grand Bulls, you should still have a way to participate in workshop recipes requiring feathers. I'd also like to be able to filter the supply and demand window length production takes.

That's not happening. You're on an island and you work with what you have. If you want to diversify your crafts, you better diversify your stock. If you want 20 of one animal, you work within those limits.I enjoy it the way it currently is. If you want the workshop recipes handy, I'm sure there's a spreadsheet out there.
