putting the gapcloser/disengage button together and just makeit work based on your distance to the boss
That's another one I actually considered with this one! I don't know about the logistics of proximity-based weaponskills so I relented and split them up.

Would be easy to toss some other actions on there if things worked proximity-wise, could even toss a ranged combo in there to replace the base combos at a range, would be quite cool. Would be another layer of complexity, but still cool.


Still considering alternate names but I'm attached to Ranger for now. Scout's a little on-the-nose, Hunter is something that exists already, actually something I took some inspiration from.
Also Assassin and Sniper but those don't fit thematically for this one
