    Ive supported the change very well since it was made. I had no idea people actually disliked the change so I’ve had no reason to come online to defend it until now.

    The thing i’ve noticed about the internet is people don’t come online to talk about things that are fine. They only come to talk about problems. So up until now i and many have had no reason to say combining the skills was good because we liked it. Now i am saying i do not like them separate. Combined is better. I will also go one step further and say life surge should be removed and the effects of the skill just merged with one of the other abilities to further reduce the button bloat until the changes they have mentioned for 7.0

    Dragoons have to many skills to manage as it is and adding in an extra button back in that does not need to be separated is unnecessary.

    Well, haha, sucks to be you! We've managed to force SE to back off from lobotomizing a job and handing it to the thumbless casuals for once. We've already lost plenty to you. You can go play something "easier", like SMN, or RPR, or SAM, or any of the healers, or WAR, or the second WAR...

    This battle is ours, even though I know that your ilk will never stop whining until we lose everything.

    I didn't like the merge, but your reasoning is terrible. Job flow is more important than perceived complexity. SAM feels awful because 6.0 changes ruined the job flow, not kaiten removal.


    Also, isn't rdm one of the "easier" jobs?

    You seem to have quite the ego lol....

    Too many skills?

    I have room left on my hotbars, just barely. Less than 36 including role skills.

    Most older jobs have that many. Almost all of them actually.

    Yes for the controller cross bar there are to many skills. Changing to different bars takes different button presses or double taps to bring up the extended bars. And in crazy complicated fights thats not always easy to manage and move around. Elusive jump is nearly pointless so it gets buried on a 3rd screen. Dragon sight is annoying to use as you have to click on another person before you can use it. And if they are not in range it doesnt work, or didnt use to. Its updated and can be used solo now but thats not good for how it is supposed to be used. Role actions are the worst as most of them are very situational and not needed most of the time so when i want to use them they are hidden away on an inconvenient screen to access because other actions are used more and need higher priority so no muscle memory for them.

    Fang and claw and wheeling thrust should be combined too, they do the same thing and most big boss battles you really dont get to decide if your on the side or the back

    I recommend making a macro for Dragonsight if it's possible on console, might alleviate your pain a bit.

    Well, people take good changes for granted (And don't expect them to be reversed in one patch), so those tend to be a "silent majority" case.
