Does anyone else feel like the devs just don't like MCH?

What are you talking about? I, for one, enjoy sitting on a full bar or hope it fills up during an optimum burst window! Speaking of which, what other class punishes you for blowing your resources as soon as they are available? At most I can only think of rdm but they can be a pinch healer/rezzer. What does mch have? i would argue Summoner is in a similar situation. Bahamut, Phoenix, and Ifrit are the bulk of SMN's burst, and if you pop them outside of a burst window in a raid, you can find yourself doing less damage overall. That being said, it is far less severe than it was prior to 6.0

However, SMN is still high in the DPS charts, whereas MCH has been near the bottom for some time now, and this patch will make it even worse. If anything, they should have kept the regular potency and just increased it for 'higher battery' use.

they need to adjust how the Rook and Queen function. for starters they need to make it so their duration does not start ticking down until their first attack. Both the Rook and the Queen eat up a significant portion of their time with their summon animation, and as it stands only benefit from approximately half of it. That's enough time for maybe 3 hits, which is a absurd
