De-ranking in Crystal Conflict is a horrible idea

You're 100% full of crap. Either you got carried or you were win trading. Then again for all we know, you could be using hacks too.

I busted my ass for two seasons and could not get out of bronze. 90% of the people in Crystal got carried and I have zero respect for any of them.

Effort is not a complete substitute for learning. You can play a thousand games of CC and if you start out unskilled and refuse to learn anything and adapt at all, then you'll stay in Bronze, and it will be the system working correctly. It really, truly, does not matter how good or bad the rest of your team is on a long enough timescale.

So 90% of the people in Crystal got carried or were cheating while having an easy spree reaching it? So players with seasons upon seasons of exp of FFXIV pvp in general (not Frontlines) or those naturally excelling at fast-paced MMOrpg PVP are full of sh**?

If you couldn't get out of bronze then you were just bad...plain and simple. I don't believe that guy only lost 1 game, but you can contribute enough to carry. I can go in 7 or 8 game win streaks pretty easily.
