How has that been datamined already? I agree it is a big yikes and damn. I was hoping to be able to fantasia back if vieras got more hairstyles. I miss my girl so much.

It's apparently been in the files for a while, probably because it's the ponytail some NPC's have used already. I read it's flagged for every races except Viera (I haven't seen any mention of Hrothgar specifically so while it's technically possible, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume they can't use it either.)

It's possible it'll change before release, but the Lyse hair was found weeks before it released and it was flagged for Viera right off the bat, so I'm not super hopeful.

The saddest thing is that I can't even be surprised by the incompetence of this company. I really hope they reconsider and fix this new hair for both races (Hrothgar and Viera). But coming from Square Memex, I don't doubt they're just going to do nothing and then come with the famous "sorry, we didn't know you wanted it. We're surprised by the demand!"

I remember back then when people on reddit posted the datamined maid outfit working for males, but they didn't have the butler outfit working for girls. When it finally got released, both versions worked.

That actually makes me angry. Who the hell is making the decisions on this? Like how can they even THINK that it is ok to release something that they can't use as a damn REWARD for a GRIND. I am not surprised...it isnt that, considering that vieras/hrothgar still cant use the BOUGHT hairstyles but jesus f*ck how can they seriously consider releasing it not available to two of the races? Just DON'T release it until you made it compatible with every race??! Not hard to understand...guess I am keeping my fantasia a bit longer.

Its hard to determine whats up with that hair because it lacks a viera number (buns have their own file numbering), lacks an icon, and also lacks a male counterpart while not being unisex. The Lyse hair was patched in complete back before it was released. As is, this hair new file is not complete.

That's good to know, since it's only been on NPC's so far is this how NPC-only hair normally shows up? Other than Lyse's hair I believe this is the only other hairstyle they've released so far in EW so it'd be an odd (but not entirely shocking) choice to not make it compatible.

I wonder what the "Jenomis" hair will be as well as his actual hairstyle is already a MGP hairstyle.
