If you're really so content with the changes and feel they're ok, that's entirely valid, but like... dude, you can leave the threads alone.

Whether you're sincerely not getting the issue or are intentionally doing this for lulz, it's beyond rude and this behavior would be unacceptable in any social circumstance.

I mean I don’t agree with Kaiten removal but asking people who are satisfied with the changes to stay off the forums complaining about its removal just creates an echo chamber where everyone believes everyone else thinks the Kaiten removal was a horrible decision

Also idk if this is another troll - people hate sam changes and who still not switched to another class are either lucky to get into dsr or have a static to not care that much about trash that we got.

No he “doesn’t bring the same value” but he is entitled to his opinion, if you want an echo chamber where everyone circlejerks about how much we all hate the Kaiten changes then the OF’s are not the place to do it

He's welcome to have an opinion and defend his thoughts. The problem is he's done none of these things. He purposely creates inflammatory posts for a response. You can check the forums, people have offered their approval of the kaiten change but offered their opinions on it. They will get responses from the people who play the job, but they don't get the same response the troll will. Comes with, you know, not being a dick when putting your thoughts out there. Expecting someone's opinion to "have value" when they're nothing but inflammatory posts isn't necessarily the thing you want to look for. Read his post history and tell me he doesn't come off as a troll.

While I hate the kaiten removal, I can also justify certain things, but aspects would need to be changed to cater to the removal. As I've said in previous posts, I've likened its removal to breaking a machine and trying to piece it together without a critical piece that made it work. The machine we have...Works. That's like the most I can say about it. But does it function the same as it did before? It very obviously doesn't. It can do the job, but it's not the same as doing the job the way it needs to be done. Because of that, I think the skill needs to go back in to get the machine working right again.

The other half is if they want to keep kaiten out, then rework the machine. Break everything down, rebuild it from scratch. They can make a samurai that can function without kaiten and make the experience just as engaging. Do I think that'll happen? Definitely not, they've demonstrated that they're incapable of doing something like that. I'm happy to be proven wrong by them, but I just don't think it'll happen.

Either way, debates on the kaiten removal are fine. But some people do it because they know it'll get a rise out of a community who's vocal about it. Basically, they know they're trolling, and will continue to do it until no one gives them the stage they need to thrive.
