Healers don't get a warning telling them you are actually good and not the 200th clown they had to rescue. Some people are simply more skilled than you, and are able to greed in a completely consistent and safe way because they know the content well. It should not be the place of someone who thinks maintaining uptime is "needlessly pushing damage" to ever make a decision about positioning for another player.

Actually if they've been observing and know the game well, it's very easy to get indicators on whether someone is a clown or not. Have they been popping buffs and debuffs in timely manners? Mitigation? Beein getting positionals? Or slidecasting? Prepositioning maybe? Do they have a dash in their toolkits? Things like that.
