Yes, FF14 is going to end once we reach 99 because that number cannot go any higher.

Nevermind the fact that FF14 is the first game in the series to break the 99999 HP cap and FF15 has a level 120 cap, but that can be ignored.

I didn't realize that FFXV had a level 120 cap, and FFVIII level 100. Also good to point out the 99999 HP cap - maybe these are just relics from a time when there were certain limitations in processing power, but still, Squaresoft did seem to adhere a lot to their '99'-type of caps.
