Pretty much every system in the game is designed to accommodate most players. Most. Not all. That's the whole point. You never design something that accommodates literally everyone. That's just overkill. You design enough to satisfy the majority, and the rest aren't enough to worry about.

We have Homeless we need to fix the issue for 5 years+ this has been going on, well before corona ( for you parts are hard ot get people)... part of the lure of the game written on the back of the box is a new housing district...

Not 1 new person had to buy End Walker and there still wouldn't of been enough houses.

I get the cant please everyone line.. but for over 5 years straight id bet every day there's been a "more wards/ instance housing" thread on the front page of this section..
you have 7,200 houses per server you packing with how many characters? not counting fc's

Now that servers are out of apartments guess whats coming...
"If you own a house or are in a fc (Since you can get a room) you cant have a apartment" <-- this the type of NOT listing and band aid fixing the housing system Se will do

There's not supposed to be enough houses. That's the whole point.

The system isn't meant to be perfect. It's simply "good enough." Because the investment in designing and implementing a "perfect" system outweighs the benefits they gain from doing so.

Instanced housing will never happen until/unless it becomes the faster/cheaper option compared to just racking up some more servers for wards/worlds.

Yet amazingly free to play games like EQ2-SWTOR-DCUO all have instance housing for every player... eq2 you can have as many different houses as you want. DCUO have FC halls with statues of your player (that change each moth for stuff lie most damage , most broke items, most pvp kills). and those are FREE to play..

But yes your right a company making Billons a year off subs can NOT do what free to play games can..

Again another sign the world is backwards ..here is a free to play game with all the housing you want... here is a pay $14 a month game we only have enough houses for less then 3/4 the people you allow on the server then also let fc buy the same houses.
