Purge ERP from this game!

This, seriously this. It's so freaking tiring whenever twitter crowd and alike pulls out "Think of the children" card. Listen up folks it's parents responsibility to protect their children and make them aware of potential dangers and how to avoid them. No one else (especially strangers over the internet) has any obligation to do it for them.

And this is where you are wrong: adult strangers on the internet are responsible for their actions and should act with proper care to ensure that they don’t ERP with minors.

Parents have to educate their kids but they cannot sit beside them or read over their shoulders 24/7. Not only it would be impossible but it would be unhealthy and inappropriate. There are also expectations when a game is advertised 13+. Saying “not my fault I engaged in ERP with the kid , his parents were not watching when I did so” doesn’t work.


On the other hand, in several countries, there can be various legal repercussions for an adult engaging in certain activities such as ERP with minors. Simply saying the minor lied about his age is not a defense: the responsibility to verify lies entirely with the adult, even more so that it is in the context of a game that caters to and is accessible to minors as young as 13.
