you can report people for spam. that includes spamming emotes with sound, with our without the notifications going off, and also spamming skills (aka spamming holy). they usually just get a warning though unless they have a rep for it.I give lesser as the dirt under my Shoes, on the things others do, solong they don't do it in full Towns, like Limsa, Uldah and so on.
Do whatever you want in your FC House, House, Apartments, or every other Spot in the World.
It disturbs my Game when I see female Chars running around with a Baseball Cap, B2 Leggins + Shoes and a Bikini. But okay your Game, your Char, your Style.
BUT don't be such a rude ignorant Player who moans and giggles 10000x in Limsa, who makes emotes and pretends to do some sexual praktices with someone else middle in Limsa or Uldah. That is disgusting.
We need really a Report Button for Players like that.

Brother I tend to personally be a conservative leaning person but you sound like that absolute crackpot Jack Thompson. Anyone else remember him? Most gamers around 30 or so should! In any case, our lovely T rated game has some scantily clad women everywhere, implied sex and rape from NPC dialogue, prostitues galore in Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah, and quite a bit of cursing, violence, and you could argue gore in some cases.
What folks type on their keyboards in the privacy of their own whispers or in their apartments / housing is absolutely no business of yours or mine. Obviously, PUBLIC ERP is another matter entirely. Report it. Frankly, get over it otherwise.
Or have I been bamboozled into posting in a titanmen thread again?

I'm inclined to agree with you but I also think he's one of our election tourists. There used to be a time where you would be mocked and lambasted (and rightfully so) if you ever took 4chan board culture outside of 4chan. The majority of 4chan's core demographic would be beating him with proverbial sticks over opinions like his in the OP, or at least they would have about 10 years ago.
I wouldn't be so sure.
The actual ESRB rating card displayed when the North American version of the game is starting up says it all: Language. Mild Blood. Sexual Themes. Use of Alcohol. Violence.

Says the guy with 69 in his name, lmao.
Though I agree, go on SecondLife or something lmao. However if I don't find people doing it I don't really care. It's the party finder and /shout spam about parties that's annoying.
It isn't possible for parents to be there 24/7 and personal responsibility does not suddenly go out the window just because someone would rather engage in erotic roleplay with strangers instead of taking the time to figure out if they're actually consenting adults or not.How about parents engage a bit with what their kids do on the internet? Talk about what kind of interaction their kids have, what they find fun, what they find uncomfortable. It cannot be on random strangers on the internet to raise your child for you. Of course random strangers should still kick them out if they find out.
I think a lot of people in this game's community will be in for quite the shock in the coming years if the internet and their activities throughout it become more tightly controlled, tracked and tied to some sort of 'social credit' system.
Something which may or may not happen though is certainly dangled as a possibility by those who desire it - and I guarantee that the creepy behaviour in online games/chat rooms will be exactly what is exploited to encourage the masses to go along with such systems.

I never demanded parents to be behind their kids 24/7. They just occasionally need to talk to their kids about what they are doing online and if your kid is lying to you there then you have fucked up much earlier in raising your child. It isn't possible for parents to be there 24/7 and personal responsibility does not suddenly go out the window just because someone would rather engage in erotic roleplay with strangers instead of taking the time to figure out if they're actually consenting adults or not.
