Revert summoner to 5.55 while re-reworking it please?

Any productive effort put into the job at all would be nice. As it is now it's the lowest effort piece of garbage they've ever slapped together. The actual worst case scenario of a rework.

You could not be more wrong. While SMN may be overly simplified at present. There was a job rework in Stormblood that actually broke a job so badly most of the playerbase avoided it like the plague for the entire expansion.

On the summoner side of things. Going back is not the answer. It’s easy to look back with rose tinted glasses but summoner was pretty despised last expac and needed a rework. As others have said the idea they are going with is great. It’s an actual summoner. The execution… admittedly could be more fleshed out. It’s too streamlined at this point and needs something more.

So rather than ask for a rollback (which again as has been said before will never happen.) maybe think of new ways to build on what they have made and focus your energies there. May have better chances of getting your wish. (Still not great chances but better than asking for a rollback)

I didn't say it was the worst rework (though I think that could be debated easily), or the most poorly balanced rework. I said it was the lowest effort rework.

I’m not asking for a permanent rollback, just one while they decide which direction they want to take summoner. If goring blade, the magic and oGCDs were removed from paladin leaving only a simplified royal authority/atonement combo I’d be asking for the same. That this has been done to a DPS is beyond the pale.

Edit: your thing says machinist- imagine if all you had was barrel stabiliser tacked onto drill and the hypercharge buttons.
