People also massively complain about price increases. Games are the most stagnant when it comes to price increases. Wages and costs have gone up.

People can't have it both ways. So we get this, lower up front cost with add-in purchases.

It's not great for consumers, but businesses exist to make money. And the gaming community is fine with it, despite the grumbling, or no one would be buying things.

Same reason we now have everything made overseas and stuff is designed to fail. People haven't reached the breaking point.
