Oh I love the Scholasticate , it is the reason I did ARR Hildibrand initially. My issue is if it is just Godbert why is the entire quest required and not simply ARR Hildibrand only? Godbert has also appear in the MSQ during Stormblood as the owner of Gold Saucer. The fact every part is required really just doesn't fill me with with a ton of hope this won't be more of that.
I'm incredibly curious why it will unlock with the Somewhat Further line myself. But I trust that they have a solid reason. There's something in the questline up to that point that is going to be important or at least will establish something that needs to be established. We may not even fully understand the connection until we're at the end of the questline.
