This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Feint won't save you on Curtain Call. If your group sees both rounds of Curtain Call, as a healer you forget all about your dps log and heal spam. Healer indeed sounded like an idiot.
Also while frequent use of mitigation is good, the only serious damage in Part 2 is Act 4 and Curtain Call. The rest of the fight is a whatever.
We also died when Feint was up lol, I saw the group in PF after I left so they continued.
But then later the second Healer joined the new group I was in so they didn't clear.
The second Healer also brought it up because they recognized my name and agreed with me too, the SCH was still being a problem and shit-talked me after I left.
And we cleared with the second group so... Lol.
In the second group there was a bit of drama too between the RPR and SMN.
Earth Shakers kept being baited wrong and killed Ranged + Healers.
The SMN started blaming the RPR for it and started making things up about how RPR was standing on m1 when they were m2.
Which wouldn't explain why the Earth Shakers killed the other group and I was m1 I could literally see that the RPR wasn't going wrong lol.
But they just insisted that everything that went wrong was the RPR's fault for some reason.
We seriously need a stats meter for this game for DPS/Deaths/Amount Healed. I dragged a full team kicking and screaming through Zodiark. I res'd every one of them, most of them twice to three times(assuming you include a healer lb3). At the end of it the other healer who spent more time laying on the ground inhaling moon dust than anyone else gives this cheery little "Hey everyone, how did I do?" and everyone sits there telling them they did great.
I didn't say anything or complain the entire time. I'm not normally much for commendations but I could've used one for that. I don't need any worship or anything extreme but a little acknowledgement for all that instead of kissing the other healer's rear end because they asked would be nice...
Sometimes I wonder whoever that ask that question at the end of duties to everybody in the party is either clueless or trolling for few of the following reasons:
- If they really want a legit advice, the logical person to ask in that party is their co-healer. Not the entire party. Yes, there could be main healer playing alt jobs in the party. But the same could also be said that everybody could be playing their main jobs.
- This is rather anecdotal: I have a friend who's basically an epitome of "pure healers" when they pick up one in duties. They never touch non-casual contents. I am fine with carrying their a$$, which our circle of friends would happily do as well. But there was one time they really know they're doing badly in Innocence trial and they still ask that very question to the rest of the party when I was co-healing with them. I asked them why, their answer was "I just don't want them to think I'm not trying at all."

"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
It's just validation honestly. It still bothers me. I'm not perfect and I have bad runs sometimes, but I'm usually extremely quiet and absolutely ashamed during those times. I'm not saying we need to shame people but it just feels like a breech of humility to me.Sometimes I wonder whoever that ask that question at the end of duties to everybody in the party is either clueless or trolling for few of the following reasons:

I think our culture of patting people on the back and telling them that all their mistakes are fine also embraces people seeking validation too :/ Which is super unfortunate because not only is it not healthy but I feel like some of us don't even receive the community's grace in that way either.
I always make a point of telling someone that actually did well that they did well if someone asks this question. I had similar co heal, also on Zodiark, that asked "did I do well? :3" and I told the RDM that I really appreciated their help with ressing and the tanks for mitigating well.We seriously need a stats meter for this game for DPS/Deaths/Amount Healed. If the rest wants to kiss someone's butt who spent more time on the floor and didn't do anything productive like helping with resses or healing people that just got ressed and instantly attacked or pressing their dot instead of spamming Asp Helios when we were all full HP that's their decision but I'll not participate in it. And I assume that someone who genuinely wants advice will just ask their co heal or if a healer main is present if they could stay for a few min to give them feedback. Most people are more than happy to do it but this "how did I do? did I do well?" just reeks of fishing for compliments and hollow pats on the back for some quick dopamine fix.
You may find playing healer difficult. I understand that multitasking is beyond the scope of a minority of people. However, this doesn't mean that the rest are handicapped players that have no clue how to master the art of spamming a DPS button while keeping the tank alive with oGCDs.It started off with me accidentally queued Dead Ends after turning off explore mode to do some gpose.
I'm playing SCH. I get this DRK tank.
I find he's a little high maintenance on the heals. I eventually get around to inspecting....
600 weapon... ok
A mix of 590 gear... left side has no materia and right side has direct hit.
The mob packs didn't even go down that fast.
(People say healing is easy and this huge overhaul is needed. I'm convinced they don't even play anymore.)
Wait... What? I mean if things are going poorly (like the tank being squish) then I'd attribute it more to poor CD use or lack of experience over gear, because that gear? Perfectly acceptable in that dungeon. -In fact, I'd have checked the DPS gear over the tank's because unless the tank wasn't keeping enmity, the disposal of trash is the primary job of your DPS. Not them.It started off with me accidentally queued Dead Ends after turning off explore mode to do some gpose.

I have healed that multiple times. In 580 gear. Unmelded (because let's face it--melds are useful but absolutely not needed in casual content. Especially dungeons). I do agree that healing pugs is its own challenge, but nitpicking that gear is just... Really? Is this where we're at right now? A baby step below BiS and that's it. Intolerable.
*Sigh* This game sometimes, I swear.
