housing in this game is broken, its always been broken and they will never do anything to fix it ever, it was advertised as personnel housing and make so limited it effed over everyone who wasn't a effin bot. I have been trying to get a house for 8 effin years.
A few years back they added housing it was all bought up before i could even log in. i quite for year because of it because house the housing immediately went up on the party finder for sale for triple the effin price. what do they do the next time they come out with housing? they said only people who already owned a house to move or was in a fc could buy it, so hundreds of players made fake FC's just to buy up the market and started effins selling those fc's!!!!!!!! now they block 90% of personnel housing and come out with this stupid effin lottery system, while changing the rules but leaving every effin thing still effed up. PEOPLE STILL OWN ENTIRE EFFIN WARDS! are you people effin stupid? there are hundreds of housing in Empyreum, effin hundreds. get your heads out of your arses and fix this effin crap.

the only way to fix this crap system yall designed would be to have unlimited wards, every time one fills up another is created, or do that 50/50 crap, but cant do it with 25 wards. you need like 50-100 for fc and 50-100 player base, you also need to remove the grandfather crap, because trying to fic a broken system but leaving 90% of the old broken system still in place does nothing but piss off 90% of the effin player base!!!!! total idiots when it comes to housing.

I would really like so see numbers about how many plots are grandfathered in. I bet its less then you think

Considering they put limitations on the system specifically because people purchased an entire ward makes me think they did something wrong.

And if Squeenix isn't going to solve this issue they can at least throw another bandaid on it by removing the grandfathered bullshit

So to hit the person that amassed a ward you would harm a number of others who have like 1 grandfarhered house? And in the end it wouldnt free up much at all.
Also from the few screenshots i have seen, that person did it through fcs. Removing grandfathered houses wouldnt even hurt him

What exactly is your definition of a grandfathered house? You do realize that people haven't been able to buy private houses with alts on the same server since 4.2 (about 4 years ago the rules were changed). How many of those do you think are there? FC abuse is another issue entirely and those don't come under the domain of grandfathered houses.

While I am against housing demolition I don't really see any other way to keep these things in check though, soooo every few months to every 6 months the game needs to check to make sure that the FC has 10 people or else it's demolished.

This should be generous enough for say if a FC has some drama and has a mass leave or something. Just make sure that there's no public timer displayed for the checks to ensure that you don't have solo FCs that recruit 9 friends prior to a check.

So because an FC slips under (or always was under) an arbitrary number that you think is a "real" FC, not only should they lose any work they put into that FC house but not even get any sort of warning about it like everyone with housing currently does. Just log on one day and it's all gone!

Turn your ire at SE for causing an issue with demand. Stop suggesting these ridiculous requirements to take away things others worked hard on.

Should be more like 75-25 for Personal to FC housing.

Also second point should be tweaked. It's not a bad idea to prevent solo FC housing actually but maybe something more along the lines of FC housing requiring that a FC have 10 people to bid.

The thing is, even if we fix demand, there should still be a difference between FC wards and personal wards.

Other games do it with insanely strict restrictions such as having to have 5 players enter the group house every week or else they get locked out.

But I get it, I really do. Your greed knows no boundaries and you would absolutely LOVE to have a FC plot to go along with the other personal plots you hoard, wouldn't you?
