FOMO isn't real, its all in your head. You don't have to have the rewards given out for pvp because those rewards are for people that like pvp. I repeat, you don't have to have every single damn item in the game.
I'm enjoying a lot here, but I will list the two things I am not having fun with.
1. WHM's Miracle of Nature having 0 counterplay (can't be purified).
2. WAR having an AoE Stun. A targeted stun with an AoE heavy would be okay, but NOT an AoE stun, especially when it's back up every 15s, that's overkill.
Remove the AoE stun and allow Miracle of Nature to be Purified, and my complaints are gone.
EDIT: And because it just happened to me...
3. DRK being able to survive NIN's LB. I'm sorry, it's a 1-shot, nobody should be immune to it unless they're over 50% health. Not me, not you, nobody. Because that DRK LB has no counter.

Does nin limit go through paladin limit? Actual question, I don't know. My opinion is that it shouldn't, though. There are plenty of classes that the instant kill limits work on, having one or two exceptions is nice.
I'm loving the pvp, personally. Can't get enough of it, and I hope they expand it with new modes and maps.
If I were going to change one thing it would be dnc limit. Vulnerability time is huge, meaning you get knocked off it 70% of the time. And the charge rate on it is so slow it's crazy. It's definitely not more powerful than blm or whm limit, and their limit comes up after like a minute.
It does, last I checked. Which is why I have a problem with the DRK being immune to it. If it goes through PLD LB, it should be going through DRK LB as well. Plus NIN LB is easily countered, as the instant death is at the end of the animation. So if you kill, stun/silence (I've seen it happen before, or server ticks were being cruel), or Miracle of Nature a NIN during their LB, you cancel it and it goes on cooldown. That's why I have an issue with NIN's LB not going through DRK's LB, NIN's LB is too easily countered, and the animation is about 2s long, I believe.
I love it. Keeps my sub going during content drought. Sage is great.

PVP crystal thingy is jus tnot my thing since you cannot play with your friends.
The only reason im doing it for is because of the rewards. Even like this, it manages to piss me off every freaking time. I must do it for the rewards, but holy macaroni does it make me next level sad.
This mod was a good start to something new, but it requires a lot of fixes and clearly SE does not have just a specific team for PVP thus making these fixes slooooow.
Also, cheating will never be resolved. Thus this game mode is a lost cause.
PVP shows a lot of promise with the current direction but it needs a ton of work. A ton. Of work. Classes are horrendously imbalanced and it shows in every encounter. Kill time almost feels great until you factor in crowd control and how there is absolutely no diminishing returns on cc abilities.
Crowd control is currently what's absolutely destroying my enjoyment of PVP because you either get stunlocked into the ground with next to no chance to react or you do the same to an enemy player. Either way, the kill feels completely unfair and not fun at all. I do not, in any way, enjoy the current state of crowd control. It's overwhelmingly overwhelming. I quit playing WoW PVP for the same reason back in the day. One has but to look at the hunter class alone, let everything else on top of it, back in Cataclysm, Mists and Warlords with how much ridiculous crowd control that one class alone could dish out in such a short span of time while doing immense damage as well to see that we have years - YEARS - of information on this game design style on hand. That was the kind of out of hand nonsense design that caused the devs to put in diminishing returns on crowd control in PVP in the first place. We at least need diminishing returns on crowd control here if not an overhaul of the entire crowd control ability set across classes. It's dismal right now.
Otherwise I'm excited to see where PVP goes, because I really do think it shows a ton of promise. It just needs heavy work.

No you don't have to have everything, but the manipulation tactics wouldn't be in place if they didn't prove themselves to work very well across large swaths of the communities that experience them.

Miracle of Nature has plenty of counterplay, but it's proactive, not reactive. It's a long cooldown, and it does no damage. Try to keep track of whether or not the WHM has used it yet. If poly is still in their hand, you need to avoid putting yourself in situations where giving the enemy team 2 seconds of unavoidable damage on you will kill you. Poly is frankly worse than Bind in most cases, especially due to the long cooldown and lack of damage (Bind effects typically have damage riding, shorter cooldowns, or even both.) But what it excels at is punishing greedy play or mistakes. Chances are, if you got blown up by a poly combo, it's because you made a positioning mistake. Keeping track of poly usage is a key skill when playing against high skill WHMs. It's something you'll want to work on developing.I'm enjoying a lot here, but I will list the two things I am not having fun with.

Primal Rend being AOE is fine. WAR is *by far* the most fragile tank, and they compensate for this by having the most control and decent damage output. Primal Rend isn't an AOE stun if you don't stack up :P
DRK surviving Seiton Tenchu is a complete necessity, otherwise DRK would be literally unable to use their LB if there was a NIN on the other team with LB available - the DRK would drop themselves to 1 HP, the NIN would execute them, and everyone would go "ohhhh right, this is why no one plays DRK." If a PLD with complete invulnerability for 10 sec can't keep their HP above 50%... I dunno, man, what do you want?

FOMO is nonsense.
