Wandering Bot Moonriver?

I'm not too sure SQEX is really serious about dealing with this. All Ive seen them do is that one mass banning of RMT accounts. If they cared then how can it be hard to look at these bots that gather every day and see if they are doing something? How is that not obvious? Not sure it would even take long and they can make these areas a bad idea just by having a GM pop in every few days and have a look.

They've made it plain they're not going to actively seek out anything, only respond to reports of legit illicit activity. Unfortunately, there's nothing legitimately wrong with what they're doing out there. If they go to check on these supposed bots and there's at least one person that's active, that looks bad for them.

Like I said: They don't seem serious. I seriously doubt its hard to spot the ones that are doing this. They can easily spot the ones that are funneling gil/items to those who RMT.
But your trying to excuse it by saying there isn't anything wrong with doing this mass fishing is kinda sad. Your either completely missing the big picture or your trying to smoke-screen.

I'm only relaying what they've said on the matter. I'm not trying to excuse anything and it has nothing to do with them being serious or not. You can't be serious, expecting them to actively police the game and launch these huge investigations. Maybe you should propose some way to do a "citizens arrest" and see how that goes. Nobody really cares because (aside from the spam) nobody is really affected. If they are, they more or less deserve it for trying to cheat progress like that. As long as those foolish people are out there, these folks will keep finding ways to quietly make money.
