I haven't bought anything in the mogstation since this fiasco. Why should I bother giving them even more money if they don't even bother listening?
Spoiler alert: 6.15 will come and go without any SAM revert. Then 6.2 will come along and the same will be said. SE doesn't care (prove me wrong SE...prove me wrong).
Gonna be pretty mad if patch 6.15 comes without a samurai fix...
The time is NOW
As expected, no changes in 6.15.
Why would they care if we keep spending time and money on this game despite this lack of response from the dev team. They make "changes" literally no one asked for, but reverting it is just too challenging for them. Shows the level of competence they are capable of.
Well I can't say I'm surprised. Everyone keeps telling me they can't or won't adjust jobs in minor patches, so it makes sense.
I just don't understand what's so difficult about reversing what they did for a singe job. They're clearly capable of doing adjustments, but they've only done pvp... something that the game itself doesn't really prioritize.
Keep hoping, I guess. We'll bump the threads as it goes.
People telling you that they won't is an excuse. Just because it hasn't been done doesn't mean they are incapable. I hear fifty different ways people want to explain for SE why they can't do this or that. If they truly don't have the staff to handle matters, perhaps they should put more funds back into this game instead of spending it on new titles. It's not a secret that this game is constantly put on life support to let them work on other projects. And yes, I have seen the job listings in SE, the problem is they are not exclusively for FFXIV and the barrier to even qualify for some of their positions makes it difficult for newer and younger talented individuals to even apply. They are already pushing the XIV team to XVI's development and people have noticed with Endwalker.Well I can't say I'm surprised. I don't really have much to say anymore about this except the same old, much like our friends overseas. My friends within the 14 circle are quitting because they are no longer happy with the game's direction and with this trend keeping up I'm probably going to do the same in 6.2. When content bored me my friends were the reason I stuck around. The one and only job I enjoy is not fun.
I'm not that high off copium to think 6.15 was going to introduce any changes to sam. Closest would be 6.2 but I've high doubts considering the amount of dev attention we got (as of 6/8/2022 and that is none) that nothing will happen other than possible numbers adjustment.
I think the main thing we want is an acknowledgement of the feedback in some way shape or for. A statement that they're considering it at the very least.I'm not that high off copium to think 6.15 was going to introduce any changes to sam. But others have pointed out that similarly removed skills have been brought back in the past on these so called "minor patches".
Which I think I remember happening. Hagakure and Energy Drain. Granted, those had no statement made about it beforehand, nor did the removal of those skills involve an entire potency shift on the entire kit, but I imagine if they can alter potencies in any patch, major or minor, then this can still be done on either one, too.
With how vocal the SAM community at large has been, there should've been something by now.
