SE, is it that hard to make the Mogstation outfits dyable?

Most of them wouldn't dye well. They'll probably need multiple dyeable segments to look sensible. Thinking especially about Minfilia's attire.

for example ryne's outfit wouldn't dye well... because it would completely destroy the identity of the oracle of light outfit, which is supposed to be pure white
