Open Up FC Housing Zones for Individuals

The current situation just sucks. I don't get the decision to give FCs 18 wards and let individuals fight over the few other plots left over.
Wish they would just make apartments bigger and give them a balcony, I would be happy with my apartment then. ~_~

I would pay good money to be able to get into the minds of the developers to get a glimpse of why they appear to be so stubborn about dealing with the housing issue. It's touted as a major feature of this game and yet so few people are allowed to enjoy it. Before anyone chimes in and says "but you could get an apartment", apartments are but a pale shadow of what houses are. There is so much more that you can do with a house that you can not do with an apartment. Even internally, houses are vastly more customizable than apartments currently are.

They are beyond tone deaf considering that they allegedly listen to what the players want.

It's going to take at least a few more lottery cycles for it to balance out, at that point, reevaluating is a good idea. We are still at the point where, Mediums/Larges have a preference over a small, and it is still the best time to ever bid for a medium or large. Once the mediums/larges are gone, the FCs that want a house, that did not win won, will be looking at the smalls so that they have anything, anywhere. Once those are claimed, real evaluations can be made.

We are at the point where FC wards are literally free real estate for shell FCs. Just walk up and get yourself a large. No competition.

i still dont understand why a few LARGE houses, when people (at least a big chunk of them from what i rwead) just want large houses, or just to upgrade them to a large...

It's just sad at this point, you're fighting for scraps when a buffet is just down the street from you in this situation, yet even that buffet STILL can't fill the demand for player housing. According to this infographic infograph for the Sargantanas server (https://redd.it/v1vc7d), they would need 7 wards in each housing zone to meet the demand, because as if this last lottery, it was a 4.4 chance to win the plot. Square likely won't do that, so the solution is instanced housing, cut out the lottery at the expense of the neighborhood aspect.

I am just tired of Yoshi and the crew. All the money we spend could be used to get way more servers to increase the load but instead use the funds to go towards other games. Housing in this game is a joke! Yoshi doesn't listen as people claim he does, People need to stop defending him. I am getting to the point when Yoshi talks I am going to drown him out because he lies and rather put aesthetics like umbrellas then fix housing, the UI and whatever else needs to be updated

House next door to me has been sitting empty all month yet it's an FC only ward in Goblet so no one ever bids on it.

Kind of stupid, really. Plots are just going to waste.

FC's is going to have first dips for a while, then it will open up to individuals, and that is how the system works now and how it worked in the past as well... now even more fair as having a lottery system included giving everyone a fair chance to get what they want the most.

Yes, I do understand the developer's intentions to let FCs secure a house. However, by the end of the 3rd lottery round, FCs would have ample chances to secure one.

Given that there would be close to zero private plots available after the 3rd lottery roudn while the FC wards are still less than half-filled, I sincerely hope that the FC wards will be open up for private bidding by then.
