I'm quite happy even with some issues with the game!
Though I'd share what I got after lots of grinding and work ... my new Anima Weapon!

No matter which MMO I have called home in the past few decades, forums always end up being more fully of doom and gloom I find. Anger and negativity generate more noise and content. For my point I adored Endwalker, and I know many other people did.
If you want upvotes for telling others how much you love the game and having them do the same, the Reddit is the place for you.
If you want people who (presumably) love the game and want to talk about the problems more than the good parts to try and make it better, that is the forums.
I am not even going to disagree with you. The subreddits for this game are generally much less toxic that the official forum. Sad.If you want upvotes for telling others how much you love the game and having them do the same, the Reddit is the place for you.

If you consider it "toxic" to talk about places the game sorely needs improvements or changes in, in a constructive and politely critiquing manner, then you're honestly the toxic one in the equation.
Sorry not sorry.
But hey, least the mainsub will have one more toxic positivity crusader upvoting yet another generic catgirl anime-style commission, I guess?
Ironically the forums weren't this bad last year.
Where have you been? the moon? It's 3am here in Ravana OCE and when I logged I was in a que ......OCE isn't dead your opinion is ..Yes i'm toxic but so are youAre you new?
I mean if the game is new to you then it will still have that new car smell and be fun and exciting to play.
But I think once that wears off the game becomes much more stale and repetitive. Many new players end up dropping the game very quickly as a result.
People talk about a massive population influx recently but in reality it came, it stayed a few weeks, and it got bored and vanished.
I've been playing XIV since 1.0 and while the game is still enjoyable. The majority of the time that enjoyment comes from the friends I play with more than from the game itself. The game itself is pretty mediocre.
It's like a cheap restaurant. Foods crap, service is lousy, the place is a dive. But, if your in there with good friends you can still have a good evening.

People verbally flipping the bird and calling others a troll for having a different opinion, yeah real constructive and polite. Not saying you did those things, but they happened to me today, again. If you consider it "toxic" to talk about places the game sorely needs improvements or changes in, in a constructive and politely critiquing manner, then you're honestly the toxic one in the equation.

The fact of the matter is this. The vast majority of complaints on these forums are so petty and so tiny. I think a lot people playing this game don't know what a bad mmo actually is.
