This housing system is TRASH

To be entirely honest, you will likely never own a house in this game unless theres a core system change.

Thats just that statistics of it.

Unfortunately, Khudus - because we're on Balmung - and housing is severely limited - we may just not be able to acquire our desired housing for the remainder of the game's lifespan.

We both know small privates are going to see 100+ entries. Our chances are beyond slim.

And that's exactly why I'm here and saying something because not saying anything is just going to continue to allow this to happen... Like I've been trying to get a better relo for over a year. So I might as well try reaching out and say something with a proper suggestion. . .

So I'm gonna say this again and be a little more clear.

I don't think adding more wards will fix this as a whole. It's just a bandaid until you get the same problem again in due time. . . This will help some servers but not servers like mine. People aren't going to server hop so willingly either. So you can't expect this to fix itself in any way. . . The best thing to do is for each of us to have our own zone. We don't need neighbors. . . especially, strangers, we aren't ever going to care about. We're a bunch of antisocial nerds in a digital world. So it's silly to expect socializing like that and if it does it's going to be rare or not that often.

Give us our own zone, our own house and don't make us fight each other over it. . .

You know when 6.1 released with the Empyrium, I had a LOT of people act toxic towards me just for going near the plot they're sitting at to try and 'guard' it. Like it was really going to stop me but STILL. It encouraged bad behavior. . . this just makes people aggresive, unhappy, uncomfortable and stressed. That's not how a videogame should feel.

But, unfortunately, your idea makes too much sense.

And it would result in the developers having to admit that they erred heavily in relation to their original idea for housing.

Which means there's minimal chances of it ever being implemented.

I hate how much you're right. . .
But I also hate the idea of not doing anything and risk losing the chance of making a change by reaching out.

Folks have requested instance housing for a while now. Is there a chance?

Eh. Maybe?

But I doubt at this point.

They're just going to keep slapping band aid fixes on it.

I've gotten to the point of just accepting the improbability of receiving a home. I lost a bid today for a private and felt nothing. So it helps it doesn't sting as much to lose out.
