Do ARR races need an update?

The Roe clearly got the same treatment as the Hyur altho finding high res pics of this at least with just quick google on images is a bit hard.
It's a bit harder to compare humans to non-humans.
The Roe looks like he has a bit rougher skin that is more matte and less reflective than Hyur.



The Miqo'te and Lala were viewed from the side but I think they look like they got the same treatment too but they're not finished.

Hopefully they'll look a little more blended in. The skin texture around the scales could look ever-so slightly rougher, showing that the skin is calcifying into scales in that area (Did I say this right? I know what I'm trying to say, but not sure if I got the right words XD)

Dunno if its just me or if they really are showing their age, But i feel like they could use a bit of tweaking to bring them up too the times.

I have always played Miq'ote but recently spent some time as an Au'ra.
She felt nice to play and look at, her animations were a lot smoother and it felt like she had a personality, even her face felt more 'normal' than what i have experienced.

It's not just you. I've always been a miqo'te, and I was furious when the female Vieras were released, as they seemed much more worked on in the animations (I hate playing as a female character).

After I became male viera, I just can't play as miqo'te anymore. They look weird in everything they do. Elezen then gets on my nerves with how "tough" they are.

This is a more minor thing, but I'd love for the update to improve how hair colors/highlights work together. In 1.0, highlights would blend so nicely, and your hair had a nice sheen to it. Hair colors now are so dull and the highlights can be pretty jarring and obvious (mileage will vary based on color & style used here..). The "wet" effect gets us closer to how hair used to look, but I'd love for that to be a permanent fix.

"Tough"? Pfft, people have always complained about Elezen animation, and more specifically about the male animations, but i always though it was hilarious with how they look compared to every other race as other races get so into it while Elezen (don't know about the females) just seem like he got blackmail into a dance and he agrees to do it but he's surely not going to put any effort into it just to spite you.

Of course, i don't have Elezen anymore because of the neck. No, I'm not talking about the "giraffness" but about the (male only) thing where, if you look at it from the side, it looks like the neck was supposed to be really thick (or something), until they decided against it, and then they half-assed it and left a piece of the old thing under the chin. It's strange more people aren't talking about it when they complain about things Elezen have or lack. So...perfect time for it to get fixed?
