Her wings are a metaphor for the whole damned aesop of "sundered good, ancients bad" falling flat on its face as soon as you consider that the defeat of Meteion rested on a handful of people and a hero she groomed for that purpose and who received the help of multiple Ancients and Ancient creations to get there quick enough before the planet was overwhelmed with the Final Days – while she robbed the Ancients of a chance to fight back.
