Deep Freeze under Superflare quite literally is a bind.

You cannot perform actions while afflicted by Deep Freeze.
The effect of deep freeze has also never been altered since the release of 6.1.

Deep Freeze is a type of stun.
This was blatant favoritism and YoshiP has to cover it up because it's a really bad look when a DEV plays PVP on his favorite job, eats dirt, and suddenly patches their favorite job to be stronger than ever.

There really aren't many other ways to spin all this and look honest.
