Who owns the FC house

If your alt's FC leader has given your alt the rights to relinquish the plot you can do that. Be sure to read the terms beforehand. If your alt does not have that right, they'd need to leave the FC at least temporarily.

Nope here is part of the list for the FC my alt is in as you can see member, the FC owner's character begins with S. Do you see any of my alts who's names start with S? No I do not own a house the FC my alt is in does, this is honestly not hard to follow.

(Edit: Support is saying as I am in an FC with a house I therefore own an FC house)

Somehow, SE <Loadstone> believes you to be a master of a FC. I don't know how to add an image file, I am too old lol, but searching for your name under Loadstone shows you a member of a FC, looking under the member tab of that FC it shows you as the Master of that FC.

It doesn't matter whether someone is a master of an FC or not, all members of an FC own the FC house jointly and therefore fall under "you may not buy another FC plot if you already own an FC plot on this service account and world".

Your alt is considered to be the owner of the FC house as they were the one to win the lottery and finalize the purchase. This is stated directly in the response from support.

Yes I get that but nowhere does it mention it, I can't see why my alt being in an FC is an issue, I can't do anything with the house, I haven't even had time to buy an apartment in it

This is not true, please stop spreading misinformation. Being a member of an FC that owns a house doesn't count as you owning the house. Being the one to actually purchase an FC house does.

Correct. This still doesn't change the fact that the purchase was done by your alt. And that point links the house to you.

So at this point helping them by bidding has effectively done nothing but stop my own FC from getting a house

All the information you need is in the support response. Third paragraph directly states that leaving that FC would cause the restriction to "fall off".
