Who owns the FC house

How am I buying 2 on one account when I didn't start the FC and am not the FC leader? That house belongs to the FC not me I can do nothing with it.

The graphic you posted from support states YOU already own a FC. If you're not the master, how does support see you as the owner? Maybe support was wrong when they looked at your account idk. From what they told you and you posted here they believe you already own one FC and thus can't own a second one. I would follow up with support for clarification.

Wait a damned minute....so you're saying that my alts technically shouldn't be able to be in an fc with a house now? So what the hell happens if they move the house?(highly unlikely since housing is going to be sol forever)

yeah I don't get it either, the GMs just repost a link to the lodestone that shows nothing on the subject. Like if I leave the other FC with my alt can I then claim my own FC's house? If I did can my alt go back into my friend's FC? Can my alts join ANY FCs? Can FC's I that don't own an FC house but have one of my alts in therefore not buy an FC house due to my alt being in their FC but my service account being seen by SE as 'owning and maintaining' a property? I'm just so confused right now

I just looked at your Loadstone page and it shows you as the Master of that FC. Did you friend who you say owns the FC leave and come back? The system will transfer it to the next person like it did for my wife when the Master stopped playing years ago.

Maybe if your friend left, you got control of the FC and now you're trying to start your own, the system is showing you already own one. Did she leave for a period of time and then come back? If so, figure out how to give her control again then claim your house and start your FC.

So my alt is member of someone else's FC, we bid to get a plot for that FC. I also have my own FC on my main (Aoi) and wanted to get my FC a house so my main bid on a different plot. The other FC (that my alt is in) won their plot and claimed the house. My Main (Aoi) had to wait for the 'Bid 0' stuff but was the only bidder on the plot I chose for my FC and so won. But the GMs are saying because my alt is in an FC that has a house I am therefore not allowed to have a house as they see the house the FC my alt is in as my alt's property even though they are just a member of the FC.

Was your alt the leader in that other FC? I think there is a rule that you have to wait 30 days in the event leadership is transferred? Those abusing FC ownership have been doing that with alts and is part of the problem.

Ah ok, so in the FC with your ALT you all put in bids for the house to strength the odds and your bid won and you claimed that house right? Then wouldn't it be easy enough to give control of that FC to another member, then your account wouldn't own a house, you could claim your main's house. Wouldn't that solve the problem? SE just doesn't allow the account to own two houses, but you can be a part of two FC with your main in one and your alt in another. Just give up control of the alt's FC to another member and then have your main collect their home.

Forgot about the 30 day rule, then you would have to give up control of the FC your alt is in, wait 30 days and then lottery for another home for your main I would think.

You do not have a character on the same World on the same service account that purchased and maintains a free company plot
* If the character in question purchased the plot, they may still submit a lottery entry for the purposes of relocation.

Is your alt on the same world and service account as your main? If so, your main is not eligible to buy another FC plot.

An FC is comprised of its members, therefore all FC members own the FC house and the rule is "you can't buy another plot if your service account already owns an FC house on this world". You could however relocate which is why it let you bid on two plots. The system doesn't care which FC your characters are in, only that they are in one.

In your situation, you own two houses, which is granted by the rules, one FC and one Personal. My wife has both a FC from years and years ago that she got when the FC owner just stopped playing the game and she also owns a personal home, but she don't own two FC houses.

From that way I am reading it, the OP owns a house FC #1 and wants to buy another house FC #2. They don't want to own a FC and a Personal, they want to skit the system and try to get a FC house for their second home since there are so many to pick from and less competition.

Owning two FC homes is against the rules, so they should stop trying to skit the rules.

All this is presuming I am reading and understand their post and the picture they posted from support.

Nope here is part of the list for the FC my alt is in as you can see member, the FC owner's character begins with S. Do you see any of my alts who's names start with S? No I do not own a house the FC my alt is in does, this is honestly not hard to follow.

Your alt is in an FC that owns an FC house, therefore your alt owns an FC house, therefore your main (one the same service account and world) may not buy an FC house till your alt no longer owns an FC house.
