Lmao did you not look at the comments? Almost every single person said they'd rather keep the lotto.. might wanna try again on your bad opinions lolLmao people in this forum have been screaming for this exact lottery solution for like 2 years straight and as soon as they implement it, everybody hates it.
Honestly, I wish we'd just go back to the original method of just being first at the plaquard and buying the house immediately. But they got rid of that and implemented the random timer because people here were crying about scalpers. Now they got the lottery because people were crying about random timers. Maybe the method of acquisition was never the problem but instead the problem is not having enough server space to accommodate everyone.

LOL. A very quick review of the data supports the second quote. I counted 4 votes to get rid of lottery vs 20 votes to keep it.
I have no idea how looking at this thread could lead to this conclusion: "HA! YOU FOOLS REGRET THE LOTTERY!"
The problem is that SE keeps trying to fix player behavior instead of addressing the extreme level of scarcity that is fueling it.
The lottery is a decent system, but it simply fails to address the main problem.
What came before it, however, was a big steaming turd. The placard timer was a horrible system which in addition to being horrible, also failed to address the main problem. 20 out of 24 people do not want that steaming turd back.

theres also the fact that they made the scarcity problem even worse in the same patch they released the lottery.
lets be real for once, most people care a lot more for personal than for fc housing (and those that don't are very often fc leaders/officers). And in a way thats understandable, fc housing realistically means "the leader and his 2-3 best buddies can have all the fun while you get a place to chill" and well, you can still have a place to chill AND all the fun that comes with designing a house with a personal.
Now because the current system favors fc so heavily people feel ripped off, pretty sure everyone expected at least half if not 2/3 (for the simple fact that there are WAY less fc's than there are players) of the houses to be personal, so now they are pissed off that fc's get a ton of houses while there are now going forward even less players houses than before the patch and they connect this feeling at least somewhat with the loterry being implemented while its in fact a whole different issue.
