According to a statement he himself has made, he had lost over a thousand followers since that incident.I'll say this. I have noticed all this attention to this topic has rewarded him with tons more followers and subscribers who sympathize with him. Whether you're for or against him, it's a win/win situation for him, due to the attention (positive or negative) brought in threads like this one.
However it shouldn't come to anyone's surprise that his supporters will empty their pockets and shower him in sub money to make him feel better.
Jesus this thread needs to die.
There's literally absolutely no reason to be talking about Pyro's life as if you personally know what goes on in his life. wtf? Talk about the video, sure, but to delve more into personal matters? God.
Analytics continues to show he is losing subs and followers loss this month.I'll say this. See, and you moral police thought I was the problem.
he usually streams for hours on specific days; you just got in at the tail end I'm sure. If not, well people are human. He will be there next time he streams. Sure there's banter that happens, but some folks like to hear banter and talk - if you don't like that, well then there's no reason to watch that particular streamer and no need to sub.
/shrug
I was going to say that I hope this makes him reflect on his behavior but then I caught up with the rest of the thread and realized that he's actually done this way more times than I ever even knew of. That's....unfortunate as well as deeply concerning. I can't imagine ever having to know someone like that irl. One wrong move and he goes nuclear. That sort of pressure to always have to agree with someone lest you "make them" angry and lash out is really a serious situation.
As others have pointed out, it actually truly is abusive behavior. I hope he realizes that and seeks help for it. and to the ones trying to defend and excuse it even saying things like "he was provoked" ...wow. You think that kind of behavior is excusable-you really think 'provoked' is a thing? I think you've never seen domestic violence in your life. You're extremely lucky to have never seen that. Those of us who have can immediately recognize the horror in unhinged people like him, but those blessed with protected eyes and ears just think its no big deal. On one hand I'm jealous of the blissful ignorance, but on the other..its a bit embarrassing to be as old as you likely are and still thinking temper tantrums/outbursts are completely fine. That's not well adjusted adult behavior. Not even in the least.
One last thing.
To any potential XIV streamers lurking here, XIV is boring to watch. It's already a chore watching you to begin with. Dont be a jerk on top of streaming something uninteresting outside of ultimates or pvp. You're lucky you get fans in the first place that choose to hang out with you and love to see you every day. Don't snap at them and tell them off. You turned on that stream because you wanted an audience. I would understand if that audience was being cruel, but it shouldnt only take some disagreeing with you for you to fly off the handle like that. Get help and pursue a job away from people if you're that unable to control your own emotions.
Well this certainly is an opinion and not fact, lmao. Got a chuckle. One last thing.

Sorry, Pyro is now an 'undesirable' in the community. The complete destruction of his livelihood is the only thing that will satiate the bloodlust.
If there's one thing GCBTW loves to do is eat their own.
The menacing aura of every Lalafell.
I really don't think that even 0.1% of the community cares about Pyro lol.
He has had hate viewers since the start basically, it was the same in WoW too when he streamed that.
It's the same with Asmongold too and he has even said it himself, he sees the same people who have been around for years who are hate viewers regardless of what game he plays.
Usually they're not from a particular community and actually upset about that they just really hate him and will find any excuse to do it.
He has even shown people on Stream before ( sometimes in the unban requests ) where people will pose as either FFXIV or WoW players when they're not to try and cause drama and create outrage.
There were even people who just created new accounts when he started playing FFXIV for the sole purpose of following him around and bothering him.
This is something they do in every game where it's possible to do so.
Most Streamers with even just a decently sized viewerbase will have mentally unstable and obsessed people like that.
Edit: I think especially with the public shitfest and outrage bait you probably have people who are actually just creating accounts for the purpose of reporting others...
It shouldn't be underestimated how insane and pathetic people are.
It's impossible to know who and why, and if they even play the games altogether for real or not when it comes to this.
There's people whos entire identity as a human being basically revolves around being a hater.
