So, are we meant to witch hunt bots that are still active? Stalking itself is against TOS but I doubt the bots would care, neither would the evidence that can be gathered from looking at them because they obviously aren't going to stream themselves botting.

How are people still so unknowledgeable about what the bans actually mean?

I have never in the 8 years I've been playing this game ever seen a single mention of anyone's DPS in any group chat ever. It simply is not a common occurrence in this game.

then you kinda answered the million dollar question if it never gets brought up then whats the purpose of addons then !!

i find it kinda hard to believe in 8 years you have never been in a group that has not brought up dps or that of other players or maybe the groups have never used dps addons or are respectful which can be rare in ffxiv some times !!

How is it "data you shouldn't be able to see?"

Given: The game records your co-healer's use of Swiftcast in the combat log.
Given: Swiftcast has a known cooldown of fixed length.

Conclusion: You can look at the combat log and the elapsed time to determine the remaining cooldown. Or is subtraction a secret forbidden technique we're not supposed to understand? (Actually, given how much trouble people had with Construct 8...)

i got put in ffxiv jail once for a run in with some arsehole in a dungeon who reported me for swearing even though the arsehole baited me and was the cause pulling mobs constantly and being a absolute d..k ..

is that just or fair either way i got the ban and took it !!

my main account has been perma banned from the forums over same sex marriage argument that got heated back when the eternal bonding was introduced no names were called they singled out my 3 posts and warned me on all 3 and banned before i knew i even got a first warning on a post

To be used in mid to hardcore groups for difficult content which you have absolutely no experience with, and the other person may not either. The reality is that if you only do casual content in this game, you probably will never hear about addons. I played very casually for 4 years and didn't hear about them either.

To start i was here when there was thread after thread about why we couldnt use 3rd party addons and parsers..

yoshi p stated that he didnt want them in the game and was maybe looking at some in house addons for the game this was back in 2014 not long after release

And ive played arr since beta phase 3 and my main account is perma banned from the forums of which im lvl 90 in most classes with about 5 alts quite high !

Also by the looks of youre join date of 2022 you should be staying in your lane and not second guessing how much i may or may not know about ffxiv !!
