    Same mindset, and that's why I'm asking that question.

    Also, from RL experience I would say that 90% of people who tell me their beliefs, religion, political positions, diet, whatever private matter, before even mentioning their name have a somewhat extremist view on that topic.

    If I already know a person and some of these things come up in normal conversation, then I'm happy to learn a different point of view.
    And I think/hope most people have that attitude.

    That fear is somewhat understandable.
    But I think it is a double edged sword.
    Because if you just stay in your own group of people and don't really interact with these maybe transphobic people, then they don't know that these kind of "jokes" actually hurt the feeling's of other's.

    They will not know that LGBTQ+ people can just be as nice as everyone else.
