It added more plots overall, but for private buyers we went from [60 * 24 * 4 = 5760] available to private buyers to [60 * 6 * 5 = 1800] the total number of private plots went down. Not to mention, now more people are going to be participating in the lottery because now there is no required time sink for getting a house. So if anything they have done the exact opposite of mitigating this issue, they have made private housing impossible.
Maybe the Devs saw that Private Housing got out of hand with 70% spread over all Servers in comparison to FC Housing and they now try to adjust the numbers a little bit in favour of FCs (which were the initial target audience for Housing) before the sissies flooded the OF "but mah Private House, I want one too".
