I bet 100 gil he's about to roll out the "no you're a racist and an elitist against casuals, and bad WoW refugee" card.Yup I think he articulates my personal complaints with the game very will in this video.
I always love when players try to paint this picture that only a minority of players do end game content while a majority of players are casual players. This view completely excludes the JP community. A majority of the JP community participates in high end content. A majority of the NA player base is casual players. That is why we get both casual and high end content. So you are aware as well, Yoshi P has stated that he is a fan of more challenging MMO games and content, so when you state things like Yoshi and the devs focus on casual content, that is false. So really you are wanting to ignore the Japanese player base and only cater to the NA/EU player base, which is kind of racist. Yoshi P is Japanese too you know?
Do you really expect everyone to be so insecure as to preface everything they say with "in my opinion"? Get over yourself. Some people actually have confidence in their takes on these issues.
That is a healer issue and tbh personally I would much rather healers not exist in mmorpgs so people cant be saved from their mistakes.Yeah, you need to be a tryhard high-end raider who wants impossibly difficult content to think that spending more than 80% of your time on a "rotation" that consists of Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare is boring.
Maybe its time to give healers big dps rotations so they literally are just green dps with some healing every now and then.
But that is an issue with many possible solutions and ideas so no point arguing unless you are a dev, maybe some people enjoy brainless 11111111 spam xd
Yeah I am certainly going to take seriously someone who thinks a video (that keeps insulting casual players, using words like stupid, keeps saying how they play the game wrong and repeated demeaning comments) is great
I am certain fans of this Misshapen Chair youtuber dont share any such very similar feelings and this is totes for the good of the game![]()

The tryhard elitist is the person who is going to finish their 5 pieces on this created to be beaten """"challenge"""" and then complaint that the baby, slower or less dexterous person are a problem which not only is toxic but indirectly implies that doing this basic created to be beaten task faster is an """achievement""" of """great skill""" which helps to falsely boost the elitist's self worth as that is their true motive, if challenge was truly their desire they would relish in the chance to do more than the rest.
The healthy person on the other hand will either let people finish their part or assist them for their self worth does not depend on solving basic puzzles created to be beaten, aka as a video game.
This is TitanBro levels of stretch...Of course you are aware of him and support him, as expected based on your initial reply.
People can hide under the veneer of "this is just some friendly logical discussion" which is all too easy when you are the only one talking in the video, youtubers arent some authority in how things should or even how they work.
The guy literally is just the typical high end player complaining about the very typical high end player complaint of "the game will die if they dont pander to me", he literally starts the video with "games that dont have a gradual and high skillcap at the end cant keep players playing and addicted" which translates to "pander to me or everyone will leave" completely ignoring that casuals are paying the bills and it is what CASUALS WANT that matters for the MAJORITY of the playerbase, not loud raiders on youtube.
The video is a defense of tools core to job's XIV-traditional identities and playflows -- in a nutshell, a defense of Kaiten.
What harm is done to you from Kaiten existing? And in what way does Kaiten having existed diminish your experience to such a degree that your preference ought to trump those of those who already enjoyed playing SAM?
That "minority" in question here is literally anyone who already enjoyed something core to their job, such as their gauge having a reason to exist. And a defense of not changing what isn't broken, especially since it cannot possibly be broken to any degree that would matter in the content played by those requesting a job they do not play be changed just to make it "more accessible" to them, is not "toxic elitism".
Why would it improve things?
As for youtubers, I'm just watching grinding gears as they go through MSQ
PS: even 5 years ago, the doomsaying has always existed
What a hard core mentality, you sure you are a casual player?
I will be honest I am 90% sure this is HisShadowX
Same rants about the hardcore minority.
Same sentence structure that is difficult to make sense of.
Same ignorance towards Japanese.
What happened to ya bud did you get banned?

Oh boy it's another "Everything i don't like is a WoW player's fault" thread.
GCBTW
i swear... WoW lives rent-free in some many ppls minds xD
In the issue of kaiten I absolutely agree, it shouldnt be removed, and I will write comments in defense of keeping it because it makes samurai feel better, that does not mean I ll scream in the forums that the game will die if it is removed or make youtube videos moaning about how the game is ruined because the devs arent pandering to me personally which is what often happens with high end raiders since they have deluded themselves into thinking they matter more. This is TitanBro levels of stretch...

The fragile and inflated ego they created (by literally beating video games designed to be beaten btw lets not forget) makes them think that their opinion is superior and should be listened to by the devs and they get offended when Yoshida and the devs in general ignore them in favour of the "dirty casuals"
Go watch the video of this mishapen chair guy, the amount of insults and underhanded comments towards casuals or low skilled players are many and clear revealing the obvious disdain he has for such players aka the majority.
