Other MMOs don't allow you to play multiple classes on a single character. The ability to full level within a few hours of efficient grind is fairly new for WoW. How do I know? I played the game for 10 years, and had an alt for each class, both Alliance and Horde side. I know how long it used to take 14 years after the initial release of that game. It wasn't a 'few hours.



Instead of wanting to turn this game into some other game you like, accept it for what it is. This is one of a very few MMOs where PC and Console users share worlds. Perhaps we should wait for those other games to get to that point before we demand this one be like them.

Yes, they do. Other MMOs have specialisations which are classes within classes. Wow, gets 2-4 depending on class, same with Gw2 and SWTOR. Other MMOs also have talents. The ability to change class on one character isn't that unique. Square can balance the classes because they aren't that different mechanically, especially if it's a healer or a tank. Most are the same role with different gimic. There is a more significant difference between a demonology warlock and an Affliction warlock in WoW than any healer in FF14. The same could be said of tanks.

We do not want to turn it into another game. We want the game to improve the trend of accessibility and to allow others to maximise the fun out of FF14 because we want to play more of FF14. Also, FF14 was not created in a vacuum. It took massive amounts of inspiration from other MMOs, so there is no reason it should not do the same now.

In WoW classic, you could reach max level in a few hrs, especially if you got a mage. Unfortunately, you just weren't that good.

Also, most MMOs today are on console, and most games are massively multiplayer.

So no, Im not going to accept the game for what it is. I will not obey and consume the product for Square.
