Wouldn't aging depend on what race your character is. Some races could live for hundreds of years so they look the same.

Heh, that necro guy unearthed a comment I made 4 years ago which sounds exactly like I do now, lamenting the eternally unchanging endgame formula. How long have I been weary of this treadmill?
However back then I was hopeful that a thing called Eureka would shake things up. Well it did bring some interesting ideas. Now it's irrelevant and left to rot like any side content.
Baldesion Arsenal, Castrum Lacus Litore, Delubrum Reginae, The Dalriada are too good to just let die because they aren't linked to any ongoing relevant endgame rewards. Oh well
Nope, the game feels like it's aiming more towards RP and successful story telling than anything else. Patch content has felt stagnant with nothing really surprising any more. I don't have as much time to do some of the content I used to enjoy, and there is no middle man between the harder content I would enjoy that I no longer have as much time for, and the casual boring content that I just simply don't want to do every day.Back to the point. As a gamer, I obviously grow up over time and often want different things in video games as a result. What was fun one year, may be annoying the next. All im asking is if SE has done enough for the game since 2.0 to keep up with your changing gaming habits and expectations.
If you're literally the same gamer you were back then, disregard.

More to that, I would honestly rather the game not change too drastically. Sure, new ideas and interesting takes on gameplay, but I am playing this game because I want a certain itch scratched, and if I recommend this game to someone 5 years later I hope I am recommending the game as I remember it. If my interests change, I should play different games, not expect the game to change for me.
I can recommend Skyrim or Minecraft to someone because despite mods and new content, it is at its core the same game. Notably, FF11 is vastly different now and would be hard for me to recommend because I don’t even know what kind of game it is now.

And yet here you are still. They must be doing something right.Heh, that necro guy unearthed a comment I made 4 years ago which sounds exactly like I do now, lamenting the eternally unchanging endgame formula. How long have I been weary of this treadmill?
