Kupo, Yoshi isn't very young anymore like most of us and this is one of the reasons I believe he keeps normals at least to a easy effort. Respecting veterans and older people is a ++ in my book kupo <3 Savage etc..are very fun too don't get me wrong but he does his best I would say to balance it all. It's not easy kupo <3

The game didn't change. It merely caters to the new generation of gamer. The problems with XIV are not exclusive, MANY games made now a days fall in the same pitfalls. I'm honestly shocked more people don't notice it. I know many call it pessimism but I call it noticing a basic pattern.

How many subbed players since 2.0 feel this game has kept up with your maturation and expectations over the years as a gamer?

Like dating someone for 5 years but you're the only one who has changed and matured since but your partner is still the same ole person when y'all met. Makes ya wonder what's in it for you in this relationship 5 years from now, right?

I've been here since May 2014 and have found the game has moved in directions I appreciate as I've grown older. I'm a big fan of the current state of the game and would be quite happy for it to stay like this until the servers shut down. Increasing the amount of side content will only give me more to do and keep me around as the years pass.

I've only been here since the beginning of Stormblood.

I did not enjoy coming back from a 7 month deployment overseas to find out my favorite healing class Scholar had been gutted of everything I found fun about it, let alone the rest of the role in general. That they decided to double down on these design choices in EW was salt in the wound to me.

I started around six months ago and there is ten years of content and I feel overwhelmed sometimes. I love this game. It's best for new players because ten years of content is a lot to get through. The future of this game will exceed your expectations.

Been here since the beginning (2.0's beta), most I've seen is changes in design choices going from one expansion to another. Such as things being simplified a bit going from HW to SB, a bit more from SB to ShB, and as they are now in EW. All while the fights get more and more interesting, and I find myself doing things I never would have thought I'd have done way back in launch. I love it here.

A lot of things are different, but it's still the same game in the end. Probably a bit too polished for its own good, but I was really mad about some design decisions by the end of 3.0 and for all of 4.0 that aren't problems anymore, so I guess it's a give and take thing. I'd rather be bored than furious any day, tbh.
