Oh no, I'm so scared of older jobs becoming fun. The dev team totally never said that pre-Endwalker Summoner wouldn't be able to keep up with all the changes because of how complicated it was to design and play in the first place, no, not at all...

If by "fun" you mean gutting and chopping off as many skills/meaningful interactions with the class as you possibly can to the point that you can literally play it with a single button macro, all while pouring a bunch of "cool" effects on top of it to hide the fact it has absolutely nothing underneath.....

because yea, having to penta weave all the time really is considered "fun". Summoner is such a bad place that is currently the second most played dps and already surpassing the number of players AND doubling when the last savage tier dropped.

There are a lot of people that are of the mind that pressing more buttons equates to engaging and complex gameplay, when it really just amounts to busy work if none of those buttons are working together towards something. The previous iteration of SMN had a lot of DoT elements and then almost completely divorced from that were the Summoning elements, and the later part consisted of one badly functioning pet that you had near no control of or interaction with while the former meant juggling DoT timers to increase potency of a single skill.

I'm hardly lying but rather using my personal experience, even taking your own link you can see they are busier caster which are the most things I play, feel free to take my logs for the past tier and call me bad but don't call me a liar.

No one cares about your logs or your experience when you can instead provide facts. You had the arrogance to judge what other people might find fun and all you brought to the discussion was a baseless hyperbolic statement. You don't exactly get to whine when your lie is exposed.

doesn't change the fact that there are more people playing now that dead ass 3 minutes rotation is gone But yea feel free to whine how that disastrous they called rotation is "fun", if you like spamming ruin with a few dots so much just play any healer it's probably the same

you're right, I wish we went to Ramuh, Levi and Shiva after doing the phoenix, they probablly didn't have the assest while finishing the expac but hopefully we can see that in the next one.

You surely know that the topic of the discussion was old SMN in relation to the rework, right?

EDIT: not to mention that your sherlockian "gotcha" moment makes even less sense when you realize that SMN was and obviously still is a low CPM job (even less than RDM now) so you could literally photoshop that picture and change Eden with Asphodelos and the point would be the same.

But thanks for making us notice the date and the five big columns referring to a savage tier that came out more than a year ago that absolutely no one else noticed, I suppose.
