if they made it an option for more accessability options i would be 100% on board, people who don't like to hit 1-1-1 can just keep hitting 1-2-3 for example, but for you it would be a game changer in an positive way.
the issue is that they're just removing an essential button (that didn't contribute to button bloat as they claim) for no real reason.
if they for example said "ok, so we made an option to make the combo transform itself into the next button, while also making ikishoten transform to ogi namakiri etc" it would've been fine (this would remove more bloat)
but instead they remove an essential tool to the identity of an SAM, you're already casting your big finishers, buffing that "feels" right.
