About 1% of the playerbase does ultimate, and they fixed a bug. The fact that there's a bug and that is fixed nearly instantly. Surely something like that should have made it through QA... Like how these hairstyles clearly didn't. Or the housing fiasco clearly didnt.

THERE'S A MOD out there that restores the ears even states what was done to restore them:

If true, then they were simply making more work for themselves just by removing the ears, which puts their intentions further into question.
