We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

If every job could wear the same gear we'd likely only get one set per raid

I don't see the logic here. It changes nothing about the amount of work required to make any given set. It just gives people more options. They still need to make sets statistically different because of the actual gameplay, and if they add the requirement that you must have a job leveled enough to equip the gear normally in order to glamour it, then that adds more of a reason to level multiple jobs--to unlock more glamour options.
