Highlander.
Highlander.
Female Highlander. Their energetic personality/emotes come off as very friendly and approachable. And they fit the experienced Warrior to a T. They're kinda like Risty from Queen's Blade.
I made Nadia using Revy Two-Hands (from the "Black Lagoon" anime) as a character basis. Strong, clever, brave and emotive.
But without her explosive and selfish side (and the meaning side as well). Instead, Nadia is sweet, kind and very loyal to her friends.... (this gave me desire to play with her again, crap '-' )
Machinist all the way, as "Two-hands" is(I love her!)

I will choose F Hyur Highlander for your purpose too !
They are beautiful, fierce, and their emotes are very expressive, making them looking really friendly
That’s a shame I really hate their running animation. Otherwise I would playing a F Highlander hands down.
Ty Pip_Chick for the lovely boy pic <3
depends on if you mean Warrior or Marauder.
The only known Warrior clans are Hellsgard Roegadyn from the Spine (who have job crystals) or the Xaela Au ra of the Qerel and Chaghan tribes in the Steppe (No confirmed job crystals but obv Warriors)
Marauders or general axe wielders can be any race, but with the guild being in Limsa a Miqote wouldn't be unusual.

My suggestion first is to mess around in character creator for the look you might want if you have some time to spare. Than see how all of the emotes look in game, running animations, and other things idle animations sitting sitting on ground all that simple stuffs. Than if you are happy with the animations look up the lore of the race and go from there. Though each race has its advantages and disadvantages for back story, but I have seen and heard many creative ones. With the way final fantasy is you could have a character but it does not necessarily mean they have to have grown up with their tribe seeing as many races at this point have ended up all over the place. I think however the most important to many is being happy with the look and emotes first and foremost. At least thats what many people I play with have done.
Honestly, Xaela lore feels a lot more interactive and unique than Miqo'te in general. Not that Miqo'te lore is bad, just that their focus on "who's the top" and matriarchal society is a bit off-putting. I prefer the focus shifted onto other stuff, like cultures around specific biomes. And while some Xaela tribes certainly focus on that aspect as well, a lot of them actually seem like their culture has more to it than "gender roles".
Some put emphasis on skills and traits, some put emphasis in history and the environment, and others are just plain crazy like the Tumet. And interactions between the tribes tend to be super interesting in RP.
I like to roleplay as a disappointment. I'm quite good at it.
None, we don't need more of you RPers around here.
