yes they do. they updated the EULA recently and specifically mention ERP as Erotic ROleplay and that it is acceptable behavior so long as it isnt PUBLIC.Read through your initial posts.
While on the whole you're not wrong in that they should have just forced a name change, you do have to accept a certain amount of responsibility for choosing a name that could obviously be misunderstood. In the same vein I would not name my FC "Fat Angry Gamer Squad" or the "Super High Intensity Team"
If this is your second time getting banned over an inappropriate name, feel free to attempt an appeal. If that doesn't go your way, accept that you were wrong, full stop.
Also, you seem to have some misunderstandings; your first bit you talk about how SE accepts things like LGBTQ, but then turns around and causes trouble for them... I'm not sure what you mean there.
Second, you mentioned several times that SE sanctions ERP. They do not. There is a very very big difference between a "Don't ask don't tell" and official sanction/allowance. Their stance is very much "don't make it a problem for us".
I never claimed innocent and the exact intent of the post is clearly stated as to why this system is not good and that my experience is posted to provide an example as to why it is excessive and needs change. The point and fact of the matter is, rather i intended it or not, it is a CONNOTATION and does not IMMEDIATELY mean that. And yes, Lily Thai is an adult film star. Do you know why I picked this name? No. There is a story and reason for that too. HOWEVER, it is none of your business why and the exact name Lily Thai does not HAVE to be EXACTLY that person. There are other people in the world named Skyler Grey, and im sure others with that name dont like it when people correlate their name to a version of it that is known. Which all applies here. just because it CAN mean that, doesnt mean it DOES. And to view any of the things you are looking up, YOU had to go out of YOUR way to see it. I did not advertise it, I did not force anything on anyone, but i am being punished like i did. Furthermore, this is still derailing more about me and less about why the system is flawed and needs changing. They are overpolicing and underpolicing at the same time, some people get it, others just want something to debate and argue about. I am not that upset about my suspension, im more upset that i was never given a warning AT ALL, both times i was immediately removed for 20 days. The fc, the ranks...
I find the extended explanation of innocence... a little thin
I think that there is almost no way that you (the OP) did not name your FC with the exact intent to have the ERP tag, intending the Erotic reference, and any resemblance to anything else was fictional at best. you got caught. period. accept your licks for the future and move on, hopefully learning something in the process.
(PS, I dont mean you Canadane, you just pointed out the actress, so I checked Lodestone, even more revealing as they say)
No, they have in fact, not specifically mentioned ERP as such.
They HAVE said it is generally prohibited, but if not reported, they don't care. It is, as I said, "Don't ask don't tell", not sanctioned or encouraged.

In the case of role-playing involving mildly sexual expressions (such as erotic role-playing) with a consenting group of two or more players, if it is conducted in a private area, it will not be considered a violation unless a report is made.
However, if you encourage or invite a player to participate in such role-play without being certain of their consent, there is a high possibility that you will be reported and penalized. Please be very careful.
As you can see, expressions that fall under this category are generally prohibited, so if even one player who witnessed such an expression finds it offensive, there is a high possibility that it will be reported.

I would very politely suggest, if you don't already know, that your intentions and thinking matter very little in the court of public opinion (and often law).
You chose names in SEVERAL places that allow for misunderstanding: Your FC name, several ranks (eg "Twink") and your own character which all have sexual connotations.
Not to mention several of your FC members have names of porn stars. It's obvious you were running a brothel or at the very least having a laugh over using pornstar names, let's not be coy.

OP, yeah it’s not a great system. I’ve been dinged by it too. Your only recourse is to weaponize the ToS against others like I’ve done. Those plates? Yeah I reported them. Names? You bet. If that’s truly the way this grey(t) community wants to play then fight fire with fire.
I mean, if this make the game have less dumb people doing obviously dumb things, go for it. Your average joe-player isn't going to be doing any of that stuff anyway.OP, yeah it’s not a great system. Your tag is public. It offended enough people to get them to report you. Square took it a step further and probably checked out the entire FC at that point and saw everything else you're hiding away.
Why would you get a warning? If it was "just an accident", you wouldn't have every bit of your FC containing some sort of pornographic/erotic/sexual reference. You were clearly very aware of what you were doing. So no, punishment seems fair to me.
Take the 20 days to come up with a new concept for your FC. Just realize, one more strike and you'll prob lose your account. Play by the rules, this isn't your house.
That is exactly my point, it states erotic roleplay right there in the EULA and says if it is conducted in a private area that it will NOT be considered a violation(sanctioned) UNLESS. UNLESS is the keyword and the issue. There is innately a problem with the system when it operates in a grey area and does not treat the same violations the same each time and allows for a single person to dictate what happens to another and punishes minor offenses with the same punishments serious ones are handled and there is no uniform code for them. No, they have in fact, not specifically mentioned ERP as such.

Twinking is an actual roleplay term and is exactly why BOOSTED Twink was chosen as the rank name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinking
I was in the middle of changing the ranks and everything when I was suspended anyway. Regardless, all of them have to do with actually RPing in some form or fashion and were chosen purposely due to inside jokes and personal reasonings amongst me and my friends and actual life experiences or references to shows etc.
And what other pornstars names? Im going to have to ask that you stop making accusations and spreading rumors please. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
My FC is all friends IRL or friends of friends of at least 15+ years, most of which are inactive anyway. NONE of them have names related to that except me, so you are wrong and what coyness are you even talking about? you just sound like you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
I created my character alongside my ex, modeled to look like her, and instead of using her name, we named it after a shared favorite adult star, that is a nickname i used to call her, because she looked like her. So yes, actually, there is a reason and a story behind it. Besides that, I shouldnt have to defend myself or explain my decisions to ANYONE. It is not your business.
