Yes please. Tons of missed opportunities with Dark Apocalypse - and as much as I love what few little nods to Drakengard we got in the final raid tier, it was by and large Automata-focused.
I love Automata, I do. But Drakengard and Nier walked so Automata could run; I'm still more partial to them over the latest entry. Drakengard glamours in particular would fit easily with the more fantasy-aspected gear in this game, too.
I didn't expect to see a Seed of Resurrection/Destruction, let alone a boss-sized reference to Zero/the Mother Angel. While I'm grateful it wasn't solely Automata-based, further expanding on those Drakengard references would've been interesting. Replicant/Gestalt was missing most of all.Yes please. The story could've tied more significantly into XIV's lore as well. As I mentioned in an earlier post, revealing that the world the Automata cast returned to was a remaining shard—our own world—would've brought deeper meaning and a new layer of urgency to the great crisis of Endwalker.
I'm completely in favor of Drakengard gear.
give my a grimoire weiss minion!

They added the 2B bottoms, so anything's possible at this point lmao.
That said, they have the alternate Reincarnation costumes to pull from if they want to avoid her original outfit design.

while most weapon types would be covered by the ingame weapons and the grimoirs, what about ast and sage?
a floating emil head? four floating emil heads?
Her Re[in]carnation look could definitely work.
