[S]uggestion: Additional NieR Ideas

I hope this finds you all well. I had a few ideas I wanted to throw out there alongside the Pod 316 mount suggestion.

◼1. I wasn’t alone in hoping for Automata's Heavy Armor set and some NieR-themed weapons, both of which are present in the game. The utilization of those models would be welcomed and appreciated. They could be added to the Gold Saucer as additional MGP sinks.



◼2. A No.9 Type S Material Storage Crate. The closest we have is the YoRHa Type-51 Healing Set while the No.2 Type B Material Storage Crate is wearable for all jobs. I'm glad we have access to both hairstyles; both outfits would be fitting.



◼3. Beyond being a mere "Player 2" color scheme, 2P made her first entrance in terms of lore and story on FFXIV. The headband of Battle-ready Bobs blends with darker hair colors. I propose a 2P hairstyle complete with white headband (think "Cut 2Perfection"). The color of hairstyle-bound accessories becoming a customizable feature would be even better. (But I fully support Hrothgar styles regaining their ears first and foremost.)



◼4. The potential of a Replicant collab has been a topic of discussion for years now. Even if that doesn't come to pass in its entirety, two words: Emil head. (Just imagine the Adventurer Plates.) This could be yet another good MGP sink.



I know there are "bigger fish to fry" (mackerel hopefully not among them), but I'll leave these here for consideration. 6.1 brought a lot of stress to both players and devs, but I hope everyone is getting plenty of rest, taking proper care of themselves, and taking things one day at a time.

Edit: my original intention was to address pre-existing possibilities, but Drakengard and NieR Replicant/Gestalt collabs (even some outfits from Re[in]carnation) would be more than welcome as well.

You can change the hair color, but the headband remains black regardless.

The YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse raid series might've ended, but I could see an additional questline and FATE to commemorate the anime adaptation. (Poor Emil… I'd rather hug him than fight him.)

What if, and I know this is crazy, we get more original content rather than tons of Square Enix crossovers? Alternatively just do a Babylon's Fall and make them $20 store items because Nier fans will buy it all anyway.

Well i would be more than happy if they added item that already have assets in the game ! (fligh unit anyone ?) ... and maybe the emil face as a bonus :3

I feel like they missed the opportunity to bring in more gear, etc.

Ha! Emil heads invading the portraits, love it ! 9S outfit should’ve happened as a true male equivalent outfit instead of us having to make our own make shift version… (and flight units when D:! Pod was much appreciated but still!) Honestly would love more outfits from the nier series, there’s so many good ones!

My primary focus was further utilizing what's already in the game, but I completely agree with your suggestions. And why stop there? A Drakengard collab would be great as well.
